The Process Step-by-Step
The first step in this process is to contact us with your basic information so that we can get to know each other. Tell us about yourself; describe your audience; and also why you think your audience would be receptive to buying your novels.
If you like we can setup a call, but we can do the entire process online via email without ever speaking over the phone or doing a Zoom.
Yes, we’re introverts and we hate doing Zoom meetings, but if you insist, well, okay.
This is the first step we do to insure that you are protected so that no one finds out you’re using a ghostwriter. It also protects us as we send you excepts of the novel(s) you might be interested in publishing as your own.
We will then send you excerpts of the novel or novels that interest you the most, the novels you think your audience would be most interested in reading.
Take your time reading the excerpts to find just the right story your audience will love.
Once you’ve found the novel and story you love, we’ll send you the publishing and marketing agreement to sign and an invoice.
Once we have both the signed agreement and initial payment, we’ll send you the full story to read and review.
Then we will move quickly to get your new novel ready for publication.
This process can take between 30 to 60 days depending on your customizations, editing, cover creation and getting your approvals. The more customizations you make, well, the longer the process can take.
Once your novel is publication-ready, we embark on a pre-sales campaign designed to build buzz for your new book!
This is where you begin to tell your audience that you have a new novel you’ve authored and you’d love for them to buy it.
Depending on your audience, it is not unreasonable to expect that between 5% to 15% of your audience will jump at the chance to get your new book before it goes on sale to the public.
We’ve been selling books a long time as authors ourselves and the plain truth is, no one even comes close to Amazon for sell-through. Amazon will outsell other platforms and marketplaces literally 10 to 1. It just doesn’t make any sense to sell anywhere else.
We’ll construct a campaign to launch your new book on Amazon for your audience members who didn’t buy during the pre-launch. We’ll also help you with collecting critical reader data so that you can continue to sell other novels to your audience later.
Again, no one can predict what kind of sales will happen, every audience is different. But we put our best efforts forward in helping you to become one of Amazon’s bestsellers.
Acting as your publisher, the Ghostwriter Café updates you with your monthly royalty reports via our client portal the same day we get them from Amazon so you can see your how well your title(s) are selling.
Your audience is always growing, always changing, so it’s important to keep them in the know that your books are available on Amazon. People 3 to 6 months after your book launch will still be buying your books. Keep that revenue flowing!
